an outing club trip to a nearby crag... it was unbelievably cold. Not much footage because we didn't do much. but again... these are postcards. deal.

so here comes an onslaught of old videos I'm slowly getting around to mashing together. Lots of them are just postcards of what I've been up to... starting with this one. Back 4 weeks ago a few friends and I went to the Saratoga Native American Festival. This footage is of the dance stage, where a 13 yr old girl was doing a hoop dance and later where it was an open stage for anyone in regalia. Quite a time we had... I just love dancing... and I just through all of this together. Don't do that much, do I?

last weekend I went home for our midterm break... had a wonderful time with my parents and my cat, eating good food, watching movies... this was a walk we took at the botanical gardens in my town. It was nice to leave Vermont and head right into the peak of the colors in jersey. Yeah... I love autumn.

a recent ritual.
so in the recent years, my family has created this autumn ritual, splitting logs in preparation of the cold months ahead. My dad and I took a shot at some very rotten logs while I was home last weekend.

at long last, the student center on campus is open... kind of. They still don't have a liquor license and they're missing a vent in the kitchen... but the structure is standing... that says something, eh?

this was an experimental kiln project, wood-fired... it's kind of hard to explain but it was fantastic to see. the collaborative spirit was... palpable? something like that. we all love fire...
